A graduate of the Tulane University School of Medicine, Dr. David Santos has more than two decades of experience as a plastic surgeon. Having observed one of the fathers of facial plastic surgery while in medical school, and after traveling around the country to meet some of the top facelift surgeons, he decided to specialize in facelifts and to learn from the best. Dr. David Santos holds double board certification from the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and he is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
The recipient of numerous awards, Dr. David Santos has given more than 30 presentations during his career, and he has authored several medical publications. Currently, Dr. Santos serves as the medical director and a facial plastic surgeon of Lifestyle Lift and also directs the Lifestyle Lift Clinical Research Center in Seattle, Washington.
When not at the office, Dr. Santos enjoys participating in a wide range of sports. He is especially fond of swimming and has won various awards for swimming since the age of six. While in college, he won the Pacific 8 Conference championship in the 400 individual medley, and he was a nine-time All-American in swimming. He captained the University of California, Berkeley’s two-time NCAA National Championship Swim Team, and he competed in the U.S. Olympic swimming trials in 1980, placing fifth in the 400 individual medley.
